I am a Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother who has lived in Blackthorn for 22years. I’ve watched 4 Grandsons grow up in Blackthorn – play in the park, ride their bikes and I want that for all children. I am a Treasurer for the Blackthorn Village Hall Charity. I am both a veteran myself and a veteran of being an army wife. 16 moves in 22 years gave plenty of scope for job changes.
Among them are Charity Fundraiser, Organiser for Home Start, Operations Manager for the telecommunications company Freepages, European Real Estate and Facilities Director and before retiring I managed a Global Team of Procurement Managers for US IT company Citrix procuring everything from Offices and Data Centres to Services for the company.
Why I’m involved
I joined Wrong Plan Wrong Site because I wanted to ensure that any decision the government made was properly scrutinised and that we were ready with the research necessary to answer any questions raised from the UCDO planning process.

“I hope that we prove with evidence that Site A is the Wrong Plan in the Wrong Site and safeguard the future of the communities.”
