Our people:

Janet

Chair

I have lived in Bicester for 28 years, and it is where my children have grown up and where my family has built its roots.
Throughout my career, I have been fortunate to work with people, organisations and communities across the world, experiencing many different cultures and perspectives while helping organisations navigate significant change.

Why I’m involved

I joined Wrong Plan Wrong Site because I believe communities deserve a meaningful voice in decisions that could significantly affect where they live.
Changes of this scale should be properly scrutinised, supported by evidence and considered fairly – taking into account their impact on local people, services and communities as well as the needs of those seeking asylum.

My belief

“Holding Government to account means making sure communities are heard. We can respect the rights and needs of people seeking asylum while also standing up for the rights, wellbeing and legitimate concerns of the communities affected.”
