Our people:

Dave

Research, Evidence & Technical Lead

I’ve called Arncott home for 18 years, and the wider Bicester area has been part of my life for 27 year. I’m also raising a young family here, which is part of why I care so much about how decisions like this are made.

By background, I’m a Group Manager in compliance-based operations within a large, complex organisation. Part of my team’s work is about making sure policies and procedures are followed and audited — because they exist for good reason — and it’s also about supporting people through them, not just enforcing them.

Why I’m involved

I joined Wrong Plan Wrong Site because this decision will fundamentally change our community, and a change of this scale deserves evidence-based decision-making, made openly and fairly. I believe it should remain open to public examination, with local people and services genuinely engaged and their needs properly considered.

My belief

“Good decisions are built on good evidence. I want to make sure the facts are given a fair hearing, so that our community’s concerns are heard. This isn’t about whether a site is needed — it’s about whether this is the right site, and that question needs real scrutiny before decisions are made.”
