Admin & Finance

Admin for Bicester Countryside & Communities C.I.C.; Deputy Lead WPWS Admin & Finance

I have lived in Bicester for 15 years and am involved in a number of local projects and organisations.

My professional background is in community cohesion and interfaith relations, both working for and setting up non-for-profit organisations.

I joined Wrong Plan Wrong Site because I believe the government has failed to take into account the nature and location of the site and the genuine concerns of local people. This ill-conceived plan will affect security of the local population, as well as threaten the community cohesion of Bicester.

Personal closing statement

“I am impressed by the work done already by those involved in WPWS and want to do all I can to help the campaign succeed for the benefit of all those who live here.”

HIGH COURT LEGAL CHALLENGE LAUNCHED
The campaign has reached a critical new stage.

Wrong Plan Wrong Site has officially launched a High Court legal challenge against the Government’s decision not to require a full Environmental Impact Assessment for the proposed development at MOD Bicester Site A.

We believe a development of this scale must be subject to proper environmental scrutiny, and we’re asking the High Court to examine whether the Government’s decision was lawful.

Taking legal action comes at a significant cost, and we need your support. Every donation to our Legal Fund will help meet the costs of specialist legal advice and representation as the challenge progresses.
