Wrong Plan. Wrong Site. has begun rolling out its latest campaign materials across Bicester and the surrounding villages, with new leaflets now being delivered through letterboxes and posters starting to appear in local shops, noticeboards and windows.
The first wave of leaflet distribution is covering communities including Ambrosden, Arncott and Blackthorn, with more areas set to follow.
Volunteers are helping to organise local delivery rounds, distribute posters and make sure residents know where they can find clear, factual information about the proposed use of MOD Bicester Site A.
The new materials explain the scale of the proposal, highlight key questions around suitability, infrastructure, safeguarding and evidence, and direct people to the WPWS website for further information and ways to support the campaign.
Building awareness locally
One of the campaign’s priorities is to make sure people across the area understand what is being proposed and know how they can get involved.
The leaflet and poster rollout is part of that wider effort to reach people beyond social media and ensure information is available directly within local communities.
Posters are being offered to shops, businesses and residents in suitable locations, while volunteers are coordinating leaflet drops across different areas.

WPWS is continuing to welcome people volunteering who can help with leaflet distribution, community engagement, research, communications, administration and other areas of the campaign.
