Take action:

We need our whole community behind this campaign

Stopping this proposal will take more than the work of a small campaign team. We need residents, local organisations and businesses across Bicester and the surrounding villages to help.

Every donation, email, signature and shared link strengthens the campaign and shows the Government the scale of local concern.

Here are the most useful things you can do.

Donate

We are in the process of establishing a legal entity so that we can accept donations.

We expect to need to raise in the region of £300,000 to fund a legal challenge, so every contribution will matter.

A donation form will be added soon. In the meantime, local businesses, charities and organisations interested in supporting the campaign are invited to contact us for a conversation.

Write to the Minister for Housing and Planning

One of the most effective actions you can take is to write to Matthew Pennycook MP, Minister for Housing and Planning, and explain why you believe the proposed approach is unfair and unreasonable. He remains the minister responsible for planning casework and sponsorship of the Planning Inspectorate.

Personal emails are usually more powerful than identical template messages. To make it easier, we have prepared a draft email that you can use as a starting point and adapt in your own words.

Circulate our information leaflet

Help more people understand what is being proposed and why the campaign is opposing it.

Download our leaflet, send it to friends and family, share it with local groups or ask permission to display it in a workplace, shop or community venue.

Together, our voices are stronger

It is essential that our community speaks with one clear and united voice.

Together, we can ensure that the Government understands the strength of local feeling and the importance of listening to the people of Bicester and the surrounding communities before any decision is made.
