Object to the planning application: make your voice heard before 17th September

September 7, 2026
The formal representation period for MOD Bicester Site A is now open, with residents having until 17 September 2026 to submit an objection. Find out why your response matters and use our evidence-based objection guide to make your voice heard.

The formal representation period for the proposed asylum accommodation at MOD Bicester Site A is now open – and residents have only until 17 September 2026 to submit an objection.

This is an important moment for the campaign.

The Government’s application proposes accommodation for up to 1,256 people at Site A, and the documents submitted in support of the scheme raise a number of significant questions around issues including transport, flooding and drainage, ground conditions, infrastructure, ecology and the overall suitability of the site.

The representation period gives members of the public an opportunity to put their concerns formally on the record before the application is determined.

Why does objecting matter?

Every individual, evidence-based objection helps demonstrate the strength and breadth of concern surrounding the proposal.

Representations that raise relevant planning considerations can be taken into account by the Secretary of State when deciding the application. This means it is important that as many people as possible take the time to respond — and that objections focus on the planning evidence and issues surrounding the site.

The window is extremely short, so we strongly encourage residents not to leave their objection until the final day.

We’ve made it as easy as possible

Wrong Plan Wrong Site has reviewed the published application documents and prepared a dedicated objection guide to help residents respond.

It includes:

  • the key evidence-based grounds you may wish to raise
  • guidance on writing an effective objection
  • a ready-to-use objection template
  • a button that opens a pre-filled email ready for you to personalise and send
  • additional planning grounds for anyone who wants to make a more detailed submission

Where possible, we encourage people to put the points into their own words and explain which issues matter to them. Individual responses are more valuable than large numbers of identical emails.

Act before 17 September

There is only a short period in which to make your views known.

Please take a few minutes to read the guidance, personalise your objection and send it as soon as you can.
