Just 7 days left to object to the MOD Bicester Site A proposal

There are now just 7 days left to object to the MOD Bicester Site A proposal. Find out why objections matter and how to submit yours before the 17 September deadline.

There are now just 7 days left to submit a formal objection to the Government’s proposal for MOD Bicester Site A.

The representation period closes on 17th September 2026, and this is the opportunity for residents, local organisations and other interested parties to make sure their concerns are formally put before the decision-maker.

Objecting matters because planning decisions are not based simply on whether people support or oppose a proposal in principle. Relevant concerns about issues such as highways, drainage, contamination, ecology, infrastructure, accessibility and the suitability of the location can all form part of the planning assessment.

That means every well-founded objection helps build the evidence base that the Government must consider before a decision is made.

Why your objection matters

A single objection may feel small, but collectively they show the scale and breadth of concern about the proposal.

They can also highlight issues that need further scrutiny, challenge assumptions within the application, and ensure that local knowledge is placed on the formal record.

The most effective objections are those that focus on genuine planning issues and explain, in your own words, why those issues concern you.

You do not need to be a planning expert.

We have created a dedicated objection page with:

  • pre-filled emails
  • a full objection template
  • guidance on the strongest planning grounds
  • examples of points you may wish to raise

The process only takes a few minutes.

Don’t leave it until the deadline

With only 7 days remaining, we are asking everyone who shares our concerns to submit their objection as soon as possible.

The more people who take part, the stronger the community’s voice will be.

Please object today.
