More than 100 objections have now been submitted to the Government’s proposal for MOD Bicester Site A.
Thank you to every single person who has taken the time to object.
That growing response matters. It shows the strength of concern locally and ensures that planning issues raised by residents are formally put before the decision-maker.
We have also seen some discussion online about why our objection page asks people to CC Wrong Plan Wrong Site and Calum Miller MP when sending their objection.
So we want to explain exactly why.
Why CC Calum Miller MP?
Calum Miller is our local Member of Parliament.
Keeping him copied into objections means he can see directly how much concern there is within the community and has his own record of the representations being submitted.
As our elected representative in Parliament, he is also in a position to raise concerns directly with Government and challenge decisions or information where necessary.
Why CC Wrong Plan Wrong Site?
The reason we are asking you to copy us in is simple:
transparency and accountability.
By receiving copies of objections, we can keep an independent count of how many people have submitted them. That matters because, once the consultation process is over, figures may be published showing how many representations were received. If there were ever a significant difference between the official figure and the number of objections we know were submitted, we would be able to challenge that discrepancy with evidence. For example, if an official figure suggested that only a small number of objections had been received while our records showed hundreds, we would have an independent record demonstrating otherwise.
Nothing more complicated than that
There is no hidden arrangement behind the CC request. Calum Miller MP does not control Wrong Plan Wrong Site, and Wrong Plan Wrong Site does not control him. We are simply asking people to copy both of us into their objections so that there is a clear, independent record of the community response. Your objection should still be sent to the official Government address. Copying us in does not replace that.

Passing 100 objections is a brilliant start. But we need as many people as possible to take part before the objection window closes on 17th September.
