Terms of use
Last updated: 5 August 2026
These terms explain how you may use the Wrong Plan. Wrong Site. website.
By using this website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the website.
About this website
Wrong Plan. Wrong Site. is a community-led, non-political campaign concerning the proposed use of MOD Bicester Site A as asylum accommodation.
The website is run by local volunteers and exists to:
- provide information about the proposal;
- share campaign news and research;
- explain the concerns being raised;
- encourage lawful and respectful public participation; and
- provide ways for people to support the campaign.
The campaign focuses on the proposal, the suitability of the site and the decision-making process. It is not directed against individuals seeking asylum.
Information on this website
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that the information published on this website is accurate, fair and up to date.
However, the proposal is developing and some information may be incomplete, uncertain or subject to change. Where evidence has not been published or confirmed, we aim to make that clear.
The content of this website is provided for general information only. It should not be treated as legal, planning, financial, medical or other professional advice.
You should seek appropriate professional advice before acting or relying on information where the consequences could be significant. Public bodies such as GOV.UK similarly distinguish general website information from specialist advice and do not guarantee that online content will always be complete or current.
Campaign views and third-party material
Some content on this website expresses the campaign’s interpretation, analysis or opinion based on the evidence available at the time.
We may also reproduce, summarise or link to information published by Government departments, councils, Parliament, public authorities, news organisations and other third parties.
The inclusion of third-party information or a link does not necessarily mean that the campaign endorses every view expressed by that organisation.
We are not responsible for the content, availability, security or privacy practices of external websites. Similar provisions are commonly used by public-sector websites because the website operator does not control linked third-party content.
Respectful and lawful use
You must not use this website, its contact forms or any campaign communication channels:
- to threaten, abuse, harass or intimidate anyone;
- to promote hatred, discrimination or violence;
- to publish knowingly false or misleading information;
- to impersonate another person or organisation;
- to submit unlawful, defamatory or offensive material;
- to interfere with the operation or security of the website;
- to introduce malware, viruses or other harmful code;
- to collect personal information about other users without permission; or
- for any unlawful purpose.
We may disregard, remove or report communications that breach these standards.
Contact forms and information you send us
When you submit information through the website, you confirm that:
- the information is accurate to the best of your knowledge;
- you have the right to provide it;
- it does not unlawfully disclose someone else’s private or confidential information; and
- it does not infringe another person’s rights.
Submitting information does not guarantee that it will be published, investigated or used by the campaign.
Where you send us evidence, documents, photographs or other material, you grant the campaign permission to review, store and use that material for legitimate campaign purposes. We will contact you before publicly identifying you or publishing personal information unless you have clearly authorised us to do so or disclosure is required by law.

You may link to this website provided that you do so fairly and lawfully.
You must not present a link in a way that falsely suggests that Wrong Plan. Wrong Site. endorses, sponsors or is formally associated with you, your organisation or your content.
We may ask for a link to be removed where it is misleading, unlawful or damaging to the campaign.
Availability and security
We aim to keep the website available and secure, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access.
We may suspend, withdraw or change any part of the website without notice, including where necessary for maintenance, security, legal reasons or campaign updates.
Although we take reasonable precautions, we cannot guarantee that the website will always be free from bugs, viruses or other harmful material. You should use appropriate security protection on your own device.

Any future donations will be subject to additional information or terms displayed at the point of donation, including how funds will be used and whether donations are refundable.
Until the campaign confirms otherwise, it should not be assumed that donations qualify for Gift Aid, charitable tax relief or any other tax benefit.
